You all know this is my favourite part of the month. I really loved October, Autumn is in full swing and I’m another year older. I don’t mind as I still get told I look much younger.
I now bring you my favourite bits from this glorious month.
My New Planner
Until halfway through the month this favourite never even existed to me but I am so happy I have it now. I had it as a birthday present from my Brother, sister in law to be one day and little niece.
For anyone who needs to write down things to remember, birthdays, plans of action and anything else you would need to write down this is the one for it. I believe that there is a sale on at Hobbycraft where this is from so you may be in luck if you want to bag this beauty.
Kindle fire 2017 Edition
I used to have one of these a fair few years ago and then I was converted to an iPad. Because i had an iPhone as well as the iPad it made it kinda pointless having both, so I sold it and just kept my phone. Then I was having a nosey on good old Amazon and I stumbled across an Amazon Kindle Fire 2017 edition for £59.99. Having some unspent birthday money I thought I’ll have you.
It’s so slim and lightweight its perfect to throw into your bag and you can download all sorts on there…Pinterest and the kindle app is mine…I love how the book speaks to me and I don’t have to grab my specs to read. you can also put a micro sd card in the side up to 256Gb, which I think is pretty cool as you can download films to watch on the go and have pretty much whatever you want on there without thinking ahhh gonna run out of storage.
Well, I kind of had a few friends over – each on separate occasions and let’s just say the cheese board came out and some yummy varieties of cheese was consumed. I guess that can be partially to blame for a few pounds creeping on this month as there was no birthday cake.
My friends consumed the wine like traditional cheese and wine nights and i just overdosed on cheese and had funny dreams every time. I won’t be partaking in eating that much cheese until Christmas if I can help it…ha ha.
Michael Jacksons Scream Album
I have a few of Jacko’s albums on CD as a bit of nostalgia. Me and my brother were obsessed with him in our childhood days. Craig could do a bloody good moonwalk, me on the other hand looked like a complete tool. So when i saw this album advertised on the tele i thought Spotify must have it and off i went there and i wasn’t disappointed. All my favourites and some extras are on there. Long live the king of pop music.

Thanks for reading
and I’ll see you in my next post…
I want to welcome my first Q and A guest blogger BECCAPBEAUTY
I have been following Becca right from the start of my blogging journey last year so I was delighted when she said she’d love to do a Q and A with me. So without further ado let’s jump right in with the questions.
IF YOU COULD MAKE YOUR OWN LIPSTICK WHAT SHADE WOULD IT BE AND WHAT WOULD YOU CALL IT?
If I could have my own shade of lipstick it would be a warm-toned nude that’s not too dark. I always find that I struggle to find a warm toned nude that isn’t too dark or cool against my skin tone and I’d call it Brew – because who doesn’t love cups of tea and I imagine that’s the kind of shade I’d go for. A strong brewed cup of tea haha!
WHAT MAKEUP ITEM COULD YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
I couldn’t live without lipstick or mascara… if I had to choose I’d go with lipstick. It can completely change your look in one swipe and it’s a great way to be brave and wear colour, or make your outfit stand out with an amazing pop of red or a vampy lip.
WHERE DO YOU MAINLY BUY YOUR MAKE UP/BEAUTY PRODUCTS FROM?
Currently, I mainly buy my Beauty/makeup from either Superdrug or Beauty Bay. I love that Superdrug is against animal testing and the skincare range B. Is my absolute favourite. I love getting makeup from Beauty Bay because they have a great range of international makeup brands that you’d never find in stores.
ARE YOU INTO MORE HIGH END OR HIGH STREET BRANDS OR A BIT OF BOTH?
As much as I love high-end makeup, I’m definitely a high street girl to the core. Makeup is what you make it and with some good brushes and techniques, you can make the cheapest of makeup look amazing. If anything, I’d splurge more on skincare and foundation as the skin is key to your makeup
WHY DID YOU START BLOGGING?
I started blogging because I love reading reviews on lots of different products and quite often I’d find other people opinions or swatches weren’t quite what I was looking for – so I decided to start doing my own reviews and from there came the blog. I also love doing makeup looks because I feel that I often get stuck in a rut with my makeup and doing them inspires me to try things that are a bit different. As I’ve been blogging I’ve come to realise that the community of blogging is amazing – there’s so much empowerment and positivity and I’m all for bringing people up.

Join me for my next Feature Friday….on Friday obviously 🙂
Much loves xx
Mr postman knocked on the door and handed me a little package. It couldn’t have came on a better day as I wasn’t feeling too jolly so when I opened this it cheered me right up.
It came a few days before my birthday so that was another bonus. It’s another UK SILVER JEWELLERY piece from Ineffabless.
It’s a beautiful necklace with a heart and the infinity sign. It’s 18K white gold-plated sterling silver and partially covered in sparkling crystals.
The thing I love about SILVER NECKLACES UK is that you can wear them with a dress to go out or like I have with my pink suede hoodie.
I’ve had it on ever since I’ve had it. I love the sayings you can put with it…
Everlasting love/ I love you to infinity/forever love
I look forward to browsing on there again soon as I love supporting smaller companies and getting their name out there.
There’s only a selective few that can eat what they want and never gain weight or inches. Unfortunately I don’t fall into that category.
My weight has always been a bit of a problem to me if not to anyone else.
I would say from about 2003 I saw my weight creeping on…there were two reasons for that
- I worked in a fast food restaurant so food was in my face literally all the time.
- I was on the contraceptive injection and it seemed to pile the pounds on.
I remember being 12 stone at the age of 18 and a size 14-16 and it kept creeping on by the end of 2006 I was 13 stone 10.
I was so miserable as you can see by my face so I started going to weight watchers. I loved that you could eat whatever you liked as long as you were within your points. I lost 4 stone in a year following this way of eating. Soon it became quite obsessive that I had to keep losing weight as I believed that perfect people weren’t 10 stone.
I stuck to smaller portion sizes and didn’t snack between my main meals and over a year and a half I got to about 8 and a half stone. Perfect I thought. So why was I still shrinking?
I moved out of my childhood home in 2010 and I lived off a weekly shop of £20 which consisted of super noodles on toast, cottage pie, corned beef and tuna. Not a fruit or vegetable in sight and dropped down to 7 stone 7 pounds which was probably looked on as anorexic but I did eat just not healthy food.
I suppose getting Ill in 2013 and having to move home helped my weight gain. Mum was building me up with her homemade meals and some junk food for good measure. Then 2015 I had a huge operation on my bladder and I was really low so I turned to food for comfort. Then going on an antidepressant for a short time didn’t help.
I’ve gained 3 Stone in 4 years but to be fair my body has been through a lot of upset and food was what I would turn to.
So today as I’m writing to you I’m 10 stone 7 and a size 12. I have been eating a lot of chocolate and cheese lately which my waistline isn’t too happy about. So today I am on a healthier diet that I hope can shift a bit as being short my weight shows.
This was my lunch and I really enjoyed it.
I’m going to eat 1200 calories a day or aim for that and hope for a little miracle.
I’ll keep you informed on how I get on and hopefully you’ll see me post a full length once I’m happy as at the mo I can’t bring myself to do it.
Thanks for reading
Til next time…
It’s Saturday afternoon as I’m writing this, curled up in the warm on a very blustery day. I thought it been a while since I gave you an update on my health in general so here is the rundown.
If you didn’t know i suffer from four main health problems that affect my everyday life so i will talk through each of them
Having Anxiety for 16 years or more you would think that I wouldn’t get freaked out when a panic attack strikes. But I do every time and it’s the coping mechanisms afterwards that get me through. I have a couple of apps on my phone that are aimed at people who suffer from anxiety. i will touch on them in a later post as i’d love to go a bit more into depth.
My anxiety has been problematic lately sometimes waking me up in the early hours and I need some music or a film to try settle myself back down. I’m hoping it’s just a blip and will subside soon.
I am still no further on with my legs than the last time if anything they have been getting paralysed more frequently and it’s been 3 months since I was able to walk and sometimes I forget and go to stand up to walk and then remember I can’t. A few other symptoms have come along with this like my speech is stuttery at times. I get little tremors and my circulation is quite poor.
I have an inpatient stay soon at a specialist hospital so if I go quiet you know where I am should only be there a few weeks. Hopefully they’ll be able to help.
Its been two and a half years since I had my Bladder stoma. I have actually not had many problems with it lately I’m taking the medication religiously and doing all the things I can to keep it healthy and functioning properly. I know some people neglect theirs and I think I didn’t have a 7-hour life-changing operation to just not bother looking after it.
So gold star for me.
This is always lurking in the background. When I’ve maybe had a good day I’m always punished with horrendous fatigue and a voice that resembles a 60 year old man and I can barely focus on anything so I usually just sleep and sleep and sleep. Netflix always comes in handy put something easy watching on. I’ve had more bad days of it than good at the mo but as I say I’m plodding along.
Keeping a positive mind through it all as I know if I get a negative head on I could easily fall down into a hole of not wanting to do anything so it’s onwards I go.
Til next time

Even though mine is slightly broken at the moment I wanted to get my views across about women and their bodies.
- When someone says you’re beautiful they aren’t lying
- Everyone has rolls when they bend over
- Stretch marks are on pretty much every second Woman don’t be ashamed.
- Be more body confident it’s so attractive.
- Everyone has one boob bigger than the other
- It’s not wrong to be vain it’s called Self love.
- You can wear what you want and wear it with pride. If it makes you feel good. Your body your rules.
- The size of your waist doesn’t measure your worth.
- Don’t let anyone give your body the attention when they haven’t had permission.
and last but not least
Your body hears everything your mind says about it so think positive.
