Go Au Natural with some natural skincare

Wow I am totally blown away by the following products I had as a birthday present from my sister in law.

I had never really used products that were so natural and organic, I just would go for a scent or what the product said it did and that was it.

This wild rose beauty balm is truly a miracle in a little jar.

It acts as a moisturiser on those dry spots and you can also use it to remove your make up at the end of the day. The big plus is that it smells absolutely gorgeous.

Next is this reviving white tea face mask that isn’t too heavy on the skin and leaves a fresh and clean feel. I love it already.

Who doesn’t love a facial mist? This is in the same scent as above. When you just want your skin to be hydrated this one will have your back… Well your face technically.

If you suffer with the odd anxious moment, then this little roll on will come to your rescue. It has lavender in it which is relaxing, as you all know. Well if you didn’t you do now.

Before you nod off I really do rate this beauty sleep serum that doesn’t leave a sticky residue or anything just helps aid your sleep and makes your skin fabulous at the same time.

It all comes in this lovely little bag that you can either keep them all in or reuse it for something else. Think it’s perfect for travelling.

You’ll always get a leaflet telling you all about the product itself which I think is very useful.

Dating Disaster

Have you ever been on a date and the person you thought you been talking to was just your type.

Whether you met them on a drunken night out and have arranged a first date via text or you have been online dating.

Then you meet up with them and they are nothing like you remember and or look nothing like their picture.

You get there and they are sat there smiling and you walk in like….

When you match with someone online or their profile seems appealing, so messages are exchanged and you start to find out about this person who is very easy on the eye.

Thing is, when you eventually pluck up courage to meet them it really doesn’t match up they don’t look like their photos and they were telling you a load of bull just to get a date…

I myself have been in some situations just like these and you just wanna run back out the door.

Some of you do and don’t look back, most of us would just sit down and feel so awkward for the duration.

I tell you if it was me I’d order my food and when it came out I’d have to do this to him

Dating can be so hard, and not knowing what you are letting yourself get into is kind of scary.

So my advice is… If you are going to date online or you’re just exchanging texts only tell them minimal details, don’t open your heart too much as you know it’ll get hurt. If you do want to meet them… Please take a friend and make sure they are in sight so you can leave swiftly if you feel really uncomfortable.

34 things I have learnt in 34 years

Since I have just turned 34 I thought it would be good to tell you some things I have learnt in those years that I think are lessons for life and can apply to anyone of any age too.

Feel free to take note of these on paper or your phone

Ok so let’s jump right in

1. Not to be afraid of where you live

2. Nobody is perfect

3. Time stops for nobody

4. Never judge someone by face value

5. Take life one step at a time, don’t rush it.

6. Older people have valuable advice…that’s why they get called wise owls

7. Never feel pressured, stand your ground

8. Memories are so very precious, go make them

9. Sometimes it’s worth risking it for a chocolate biscuit

10. Always be proud of who you are

11. Cluttered rooms means cluttered mind

12. Be the friend you’d like to have

13. The first person you fall in love with should always be yourself

14. True friend stand the test of time and distance

15. Budgeting your money will help you in the long run

16. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or advice

17. Document…so you can look back at a later date and reflect

18. Say yes more

19. Spend time with your loved ones…share the love

20. Don’t lose that bit of your inner child

21. Not everyone is going to like you and that’s ok

22. You are not defined by a number

23. Finding out what love and heartbreak feels like and learn from it

24. Thoughts are powerful so make them positive

25. Nobody has their shit together 100% of the time

26. It’s never too late to learn a new skill

27. It’s best to have a handful of great friends than lots of half ass friends

28. Take time for you

29. Don’t ever try to fit in, you were born to stand out

30. Use your creativity and run with it as far as it will go

31. Remember how fortunate you are

32. Life is not a goal it’s a journey

33. Laughter is the best medicine / therapy

34. If it’s not ok it’s not the end

I have so many lessons that I literally would be here all day typing away. Please know that in life you need to have picked up things along the way that makes you think yes that makes so much sense, and then apply them accordingly.

A little personal touch

So I bought my laptop in October 2017 and for about 3 months it looked pretty boring on the outside.

For those wondering it’s an Asus Transformer Mini.

So according to my photo album in January 2018 I decided to jazz it up a bit with some stickers I’d found on Google and Pinterest.

It was very much based on social media, blogging, and of course Netflix.

I loved it but after 22 months it started to peel a little and it just didn’t look pretty to me anymore.

So I got some more self adhesive photo paper and this is what it looks like as of today

I love my chick flicks, music, sleep, YouTube, I own a cactus, love a good quote and my cute little niece is called Daisy so that’s why they are on there.

It’s nice to add a bit of character and a personal touch to things.

Mental health awareness

Since its Mental health awareness day today I thought I’d share a few quotes which I think could be quite helpful or relatable.

Never be afraid to let your guard down, take off that brave face and open up and talk. Never suffer alone.

Things insensitive people say on the outside that really doesn’t help you or your mental health. Concentrate on the inside and those who want to understand the issues you’re facing.

Please know that you can’t simply be strong everyday, it’s just impossible. Even the strongest have bad days.

Go on the day the best you can and seek nobody else’s approval.

Please remember to take care of number one… Which is you ♥️

Health update

Thought it had been a while since I did one of these updates on my health. So here’s the rundown.

ANXIETY

My appears from nowhere, for no rhyme or reason at the moment.

I get a tight chest, my thoughts are all over the place, I feel lightheaded and think I’m going to faint. The anxiety relievers I use are a stress ball type thing if it’s within reach at the time or the apps I’ve downloaded on my phone especially for anxiety. I’ll let you know them in a later post.

If I’m near my bed I lie down and listen to music or a guided meditation. It does help alot at the time.

🦄

UROSTOMY

It was going swimmingly, no problems as such and then it started leaking. So bag changes were and still are a bit of a performance.

My kidneys seem to be doing overdrive, I have an ultrasound at the end of the month so I’ll know more about that then.

I have to have another major op on my skin and stoma in the next 4 months to sort the problems out.

I was iron deficient but from last test I’m OK but still gotta take these horrible tablets.

🦄

M.E

It’s not been too bad actually I do however find myself going off to bed early like half 7 at night some evenings.

My voice goes and my voice gets sore when my body thinks I’ve overdone it. Some days I feel exhausted even after 8 hours sleep. But I find a happy medium most of the time where I can have a nap if needs be or just a lie down.

🦄

FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER

My mobility is very up and down, when my body cooperates its good when it doesn’t I have to either use my wheelchair all the time or go into hospital if it is a real bad episode. We have had our shower adapted, so showering is much easier. Before we had a tiny closed in cubicle now it’s a lovely big wet room.

Most days my body is aching. I use wheat bags or a hot water bottle as I find heat it a great healer.

I wish I could have someone on tap for massage because I find that relieves the aches too. I want a new matteress one that your body just molds into, but until I’ve had my op it’s on hold.

🦄

So there you are the life of a chronically ill peach.

But blogging keeps me going and writing is my passion so I won’t stop.

Storytime Sunday

Take a seat I’m going to tell you a story.

So I’m nearly 34 and I’ll tell you something… Even though I am not where I expected to be or dreamt of being… I have been on one hell of a journey…and it has made me the person I am today.

❤️

I have suffered abuse/bullying its made me be more aware.

❤️

I’ve had my heart broken it’s taught me it mends within time.

♥️

I have stumbled into poor health, it makes me stronger and fight harder.

❤️

I had a crush on someone of the same sex. It taught me that gender doesn’t matter.

❤️

I have accomplished things in life which shows me to never give up on something you want.

♥️

I have witnessed divorce with my parents it’s taught me that love doesn’t always last forever.

❤️

I’ve met people from all walks of life and it’s made me realise that everyone has a story and no two stories will ever be the same.

That’s my little Sunday storytime. Thanks for stopping by.
