Then I just smile

This is a tired me, but so glad I got my smile back.

You see I went through school with braces on… No pictures to prove as I hated these metal things what I couldn’t remove so I shyed away from the camera.

Then a few years ago my dentist at the time seriously buggered up big time

So my teeth went from this pic above which look quite normal….

To this after just a check up and hygienist visit i was fuming

So they closed it up doing something called a bridge. Then after a year or so it started to go a bit grey on my right front tooth… So I enquired… You will have to have root canal they said.

So that was about 2 months ago and it totally killed my tooth so today I had my permanent crown on and it doesn’t look like it isn’t my actual tooth.

So the pic you saw at the start is a smile of thank fook for that as I lost my confidence to show my teeth. Now I can all I like.

That’s my little update.

It’s not what you look like

I thought I’d write a poem today which will most likely make a feature in my book once I put it together…

It’s not what you look like, it makes you stand out I know, but does it show just who you are deep down, I think no.

Don’t be superficial and just go on looks alone, the person who you are seeking should like you for you, if not tell them to go.

Standing in front of the mirror, does it show how you feel, your happiness inside you spinning on an imaginary wheel?

Don’t worry about the outside it is not to be approved, because once you have undressed it.. all has been removed,

So worry about the inside of you before you decorate the out.

Tell the vanity inside of you to hurry up, get out.

Tips for great skin

We all want lovely clear skin… Including me.

By just leaving it to luck isn’t the best thing to do but to get yourself into doing these things will definitely get you better skin.DAILY ❤️ Wash your face twice daily❤️ Take your make up off every night❤️ Apply moisturiser after cleansing❤️ Take warm showers (never hot)❤️ Drink tons of water throughout the day❤️ Get enough sleep aim for 8 hours❤️ Always apply SPF 30

WEEKLY

❤️ Exfoliate your skin

❤️ Use a sheet mask

❤️ Disinfect your phone

❤️ Change your pillowcases

❤️ Wash your make up brushes

MONTHLY

❤️ Exfoliate your whole body (do it more often if you fake tan)

❤️Treat yourself to a facial

❤️Stock up on your products if needed

YEARLY

❤️ See a dermatologist if you can afford it

❤️ Get a skin screening to see where your problem areas lie.

❤️ Check expiration dates on products and make up

If you follow this list I can guarantee your skin will see improvements

Standing up to a bully

After 17 years – that’s how long since I left school you would think that bullying may have been a thing of the past. To be honest I think it’s got 10 times worse.

I was sadly a victim of bullying from alot of my year at school all because my skin wasn’t clear. I was verbally abused and then come the end of school physically.

It won’t ever leave me, but I always think I never want anyone else to have the sadness and pain I did. I know in reality that there will be thousands in the world who will feel the same pain.

Here is how you can spot a cactus friend – those that pretend to be your friend then stab you in the back…and a flower friend – the ones who truly love you and love to see you bloom.

They say it takes a bigger person to walk away from a bully. If you feel strong enough inside to stand up for yourself then don’t let someone walk all over you. But in turn don’t be horrible and become a bully in the process.

Bullying doesn’t just doesn’t happen when you’re young… People of any age fall victim and its so very sad. Cyber crime is on the up as people find it an easy way to target the vulnerable.

If we keep speaking about anti bullying, and looking after ourselves and our friends maybe one day it’ll be something we don’t have to worry about.

The return of the fringe

I was looking through some old photos of myself and it seems that the fringe has been a love hate relationship.

However I wanted to look at the ones of me with longer hair with one so I can decide what I’m going to do with my mop once it gets to that length.

So this is 2008 and I think that a boyfriend I was with at the time saw a old pic of me with a fringe and said I looked ‘hot’ with one so I went and got one, safe to say when he dumped me I pinned it back and grew it out 🙈

This next one was 2014. I had grown my bob that was blonde to above my shoulders and thought I’d dye it brown and bring back the fringe. I think in this pic I look younger than I did in the first. I think I got fed up of getting it trimmed and it went…again.

This is me today 2019 for future readers. This is a £20 amazon wig. I’m actually really digging it. It’s very close to natural colour so I can dream of when it’s this length. I may brave it and wear it out, well my theory is its gonna keep my ears warm in the winter.
