Love is love

0

I truly believe that the heart chooses whoever it beats fast for, the one person who makes you have butterflies that feels so magical you don’t want it to go.

Some people have fallen in love many times and some just this once but let me tell you this

from the age of let’s say 15 looked at love like this: It doesn’t matter what gender you fall for, it’s the person, their personality, the way you get when you’re around them.

You just know and I don’t think anyone should ever feel like they can’t be in love with someone because they are the same sex, or a different race or religion.

Love feels the same no matter who it’s with

Stay true and be you ❤️

Being Bisexual is not a phase your going through

11

These colours are what represents the bisexual community. Its something i have always been up for chatting about and finding out more about.

From my recent posts you can see i am most definately into men and i have only ever been in relationships with men.

From about 14 years old i knew that i was also attracted to women. But if i had to say back then i was bisexual i didn’t know what it properly meant and you definitely would have been picked on. Shame on people who just didn’t get it. I was already having the worst time being bullied because of my spotty skin so i just kept it under cover.

Being bi you don’t have to of had sex with a woman, to of even kissed a woman. The attraction that you feel for a man, you get for a woman too.

LETS ALSO GET THIS STRAIGHT ( excuse the pun)

You don’t instantly fancy every woman and man you see. In fact i generally don’t even know the women i find attractive. You can be in a relationship with a man and still be bi you aren’t automatically straight and vice versa.

Sexual orientation shouldn’t have to be labelled these days and also when you say i think I’m bi, people say oh its just a phase…is being straight a phase too then?

Be who you want to be and love who you want to love too.

Glad to of got that off my chest.

A little fundraiser

Me and my lovely Mum have come to the same conclusion that my self-propelled wheelchair is not helping either of us… Mum finds it hard to push me as she’s only 4ft 11, she’s no spring chicken and I’m 10 stone…My arms play up too which then I can’t help propel. The most sensible thing is to get a powerchair so I can be more independent.

That’s what I’m looking to get. It’s not cheap and we aren’t rich so I’ve set up a page today.

HOLLYS JUST GIVING PAGE

I’d be so grateful if you could spare any pennies to help me get about a bit better. No pressure though.

Much loves and I’ll say thank you in advance.

See you in my next post xxx

Life with these 5 types would never be boring

4

I believe you need these 5 types of people in your life to have it kind of balanced and with a bit of variety.

The Inspired

Someone who you look up to for what they do and would love to do that for the greater good and for themselves . They make you go yes I want that. They spur you on without them actually knowing. They are admired from afar.

The Passionate

Someone who is really into something and puts their absolute all into making it as perfect as they can. This is done with love as well as effort because they are so passionate about it. They generally give out a real positive aura. They are just lovely people to be around.

The Motivated

Someone who wakes up in the morning with their goals set and their aim is high. They want to smash each and every one of their goals. Then when they are completed, a new list begins. They thrive on being kept busy and love a challenge. Motivational people are great at helping others other than just themselves.

The Grateful

Someone who has a big heart sees the beauty in most things and appreciates the small things as much as the big. They don’t ask for much in life, just happiness and that warm feeling from something or somebody.

The Open Minded

Someone that doesn’t really judge. Who has time for peoples opinions and won’t frown upon them if they are a little bit different. Who you can have a conversation with about something random and the won’t look at you like you have two heads.

Life would never be boring, each and every one would be different and see life in different perspectives.

I’m pretty sure if you look amongst your friends, you will find all five. If you don’t go out and look for them. Live a fruitful life.

Disabled Not Dumb

1

I believe we are all given problems in life so we can prove we are strong enough to get through them to enjoy the happier times.

The majority of the time I’m laughing the day away with a positive mind. I have been handed a pretty crap hand over the last few years and of course there are days when I don’t feel as strong and its just me, my hot water bottle and bed.  Of late there are people that make the situation I’m in – In a wheelchair rather annoying and sad.

Here are some of the things that people say:

  • Asking my Mum “Is she ok?” – I’m sat right here they can ask me
  • “You don’t want to be in there all your life” – damn right I don’t
  • “Can’t you just do more exercise?” – if only it was that easy
  • “I’m so sorry you poor thing” – no pity needed, it doesn’t help

Also when going on the bus some of the bus drivers aren’t helpful in the slightest and just expect you to do wheelies on and off the bus, the ramp was put in for a reason. There’s been a handful of times I’ve cried cos I have felt useless because I just can’t get on and off the bus like everyone else.

I guess there is always going to be ignorant assholes and I’ve just got to grin and bear it.

I am not my disability and I hope that others can see that too instead of treating me like that’s all that I am. The majority of people are lovely its the minority that ruins it.

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you in a happier post next time.

Don’t be so cruel

11

A message to all people who think its ok to knock someone down just because they are different.

Read the whole thing including the quotes too

img_3564

You should never be frowned upon for the colour of your skin, the shape of your body or the colour of your hair.

This is a beauty spot and a cute little heart

But people turn their noses up or turn their backs when they see less than ‘their idea of perfection such as a birthmark or freckles on the face.

and should people be hated on for who they choose to love?

Of course not…

img_3570

People all over the world decide they are going to be cruel to somebody behind their computer screens

img_3571

When in fact it’s exactly the same as saying it to somebody face to face..

img_3572

It still hurts the same.

img_3573

No, you should never hate yourself and no one should ever make you feel like that.

Do not troll in person, and don’t troll online, this is the only troll you should ever see.

GIRL QUOTES: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL

0

I only found out a few days ago there was an International Day For Girls.

I know we have International Woman’s Day at the beginning of the year I believe that girls should be recognised too as being a powerful gender.

I found some pretty awesome quotes that show we are strong females no matter what age we are.img_1500

There is no need to strive for perfection just be your amazing self

img_1509.jpg

Making a stand with other girls is much better than fighting against them.

img_1502

Never give up on your childhood dreams, trust me, mine has come true.

Speak up and don’t let your thoughts and ideas be silenced.

This Little verse reminds you that you are and always will be enough.

Take your top off if you wish:My thoughts

8

I have never wrote anything like this on my blog but it was something that was bought to my attention as the weather has got hotter here in England. So i thought why not speak up about it.

I myself grew up hating my body because society said that going through puberty and becoming a woman you were most likely going to get picked on because you had spots and curves and boobs coming way too early and you just didn’t fit in with everyone elses body your age.

I NOW DON’T LET ANYONE TELL ME THAT THE BODY I WAS BORN WITH ISN’T BEAUTIFUL AND I CELEBRATE IT EACH AND EVERY DAY

BUT THIS REALLY GETS TO ME BEING A WOMAN….

19398609_10155519609829479_774930107_n

I see all of these men at the moment walking around with their shirts off some of them are well into their 70s but thats not the issue here. its very acceptable for a man to get his chest out because he is hot but as soon as we decide that maybe we are too hot for a top too its bang out of order.

I DISAGREE

Having a pair of boobs, breasts, tits whatever you want to call them is an amazing thing and not in the way that A LOT of narrow minded people see them…they see them as sexual objects and that they should only be out when you want some attention to them like sex or just for someone to say – ” nice pair love”

The female breasts should be treated no differently than a mans. Having yours out of clothes should be free kind of feeling and not a oh my god i am sending out the wrong message. Some people have to have them removed or reconstructed for medical reasons and that should never be frowned upon . They should be celebrated no matter how big or small they are…they feed children which is something pretty awesome in itself.

19398672_10155519588769479_238411739_n (2)

If it became legal and acceptable i would not be ashamed to put mine on show as i’m proud of what i have and nobody should ever put anybody’s body down

JUST CONCENTRATE ON YOUR OWN

Question Time: Yes i have…No i haven’t

2

questions

ITS QUESTION TIME

I asked what kind of post you would like to see and a personal one was in favour so i came up with this one which you can get to know me a little better.

HAVE YOU EVER?

SKIPPED A CLASS: I tried not to make it a habit but sometimes i couldn’t help it and ended up going home at lunch and didn’t go back for the rest of the day (bullies didn’t help)

DONE DRUGS: Do I look that silly? Not something that’s ever appealed to me

SELF HARMED: I have had some low moments in my life as I have suffered with depression on and off but it’s only ever been a slight thought never acted upon it.

SHOP LIFTED: I have only done it twice. Once when I was at my local sweet shop i put some sweets in my pocket when the shopkeeper wasn’t looking, she must have had eyes in the back of her head cos I had to give them back. Second was a freebie on the front of the mag. Wasn’t allowed the magazine so I put the freebie in mums handbag. She gave me a bollocking when she found it.

WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE….

SHOW: I have two they are both oldies…The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air and the Golden Girls. Thanks to Amazon prime/Netflix for my Will Smith fix and Mum for buying me the Golden Girls box set.

FILM: Without a doubt it has to be Bridget Jones. The first one obviously. I have a few others that come very close that i’ll do in a later blog post. Bridget is so relatable,  quotable, funny and has some lovely eye candy too.

SONG: Everything i do (i do it for you) by Bryan Adams. I have loved it since i heard it on a jukebox when i was 6 years old. Now i am old enough to understand lyrics it has so much more meaning to it.

BOOK: The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis. I thought of how magical it was the first time i read it that there could be a whole different world in the back of the wardrobe i soon found out there wasn’t.

WHATS YOUR OPINION ON….

GAY RIGHTS: Love has no labels so those who discriminate are the ones in the wrong. I applaud the LGBT community for standing up to the haters and not changing for nobody.

SECOND CHANCES: I believe everybody deserves a second chance but that’s it. No third, fourth or fifth. If you do you may as well have mug tattooed on your forehead.

SEX ON A FIRST DATE: If i was to have sex on the first date (which i don’t) it would certainly not turn into anything more serious than a one time thing. Love isn’t built on sleeping with someone when you only met them a few hours before.

DO YOU…

HAVE A STRONG ACCENT: Although i live in the countryside i don’t think i sound as broad as some of the people so i have that to be thankful for.

HAVE ANY SCARS: I have a massive scar from where i had my bladder operation. The actual Bladder stoma itself is tiny but where they opened me up is quite sizable but luckily my knickers hide it.

BELIEVE IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT: I really do believe that you could fall in love with someone just by looking at them but when you get to know them as a person is when you really know if its true love or just infatuation.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better.

Women I admire

0

When i was younger there were women i yearned to be like.

As i have got older they have become people i look up to and admire for all they are.

Here are a handful of the ones that i wanted to include:

img_9573

My wonderful Mum – a woman who i want to turn after. Shes the most caring and hardworking person i know and my heart beats because of her and i love her to the moon and back.

898a2974cf69b9025cddf3c726d3fc40

Meryl Streep – I think she has been my favourite actress since i can remember. Shes a fierce and powerful woman and funny too.

e94685780a4087b39501b1cea63341fb

Zoella – i love how Zoella has not let her anxiety get in the way of her dreams and shes an amazing role model to girls and women.

8fdf47d9b9a091440fe19b7199e6efe1

Ellen Degeneres – I really admire how Ellen has fought the haters who frowned upon her sexuality at the beginning of her career and showed them she can and is a successful well loved women regardless of who she decides to fall in love with.

788b0cb34cd7ab84d78c74db0dfa89bf

Emma Watson – I take my hat off to Emma she is not afraid to use her voice for what she believes in and i love that shes so effortlessly beautiful too.

and finally a woman who is no longer with us

8f58581a082872983822efa6089a84a1

Cilla Black – I grew up seeing her on my TV screen every Saturday night and then my Mum introduced me to her music when i was a little older. She was such a wonderful woman who had a heart of gold and made me have a lorra lorra laughs (in her liverpool accent) and i miss her very much two years on.

So there you are….who would be yours?
