Hair transformation – Before and after

Today I thought I would take you on a hair journey…

This is from December last year where I couldn’t tie my hair up and the highlights were kind of ombre

Then i remember letting my hair colour grow out and in April/May time i treated myself to some highlights and i could actually wear my hair in a tiny ponytail. I did like it blonde for the summer, gives it that sunkissed look

Then I became ill over the summer and didn’t do anything to it apart from wash it and when it got long enough I was able to plait it which is always a hair goal in itself.

Once I got home from the hospital in the middle of November I picked up a box of hair dye from boots and because they didn’t have the colour I was after I just got a semi that was meant to be amber and came out quite brown and after about 6-7 washes was fading quite a bit.

Its now a few weeks before Christmas and I decided to brave it with the colour that I originally wanted to do it…

I ordered it on Boots.com apparently our local store is too small to stock all colours so bear that in mind if you don’t see the colour you want.

I am just keeping my fingers crossed it stays this colour

Loreal Preference – Brooklyn Copper Auburn just in case you were wondering.

Hair look of the day

Just because the summer is over doesn’t mean I can’t have beachy waves in my hair.

Woke up feeling like I needed a bit of volume in my hair so here’s the simple thing I did

With the help of my Babylis cordless tongs and the ever so faithful Elnett hairspray and a little concentration.

I was able to get some pretty waves going on. Both these were purchased at Boots I think my tongs were £19.99 and the hairspray a little over a fiver.

Not much of a change just a ringlet here and there and a quick run through my hair with my fingers to so it didn’t look too fancy.

They lasted all day which  impressed me.

So there you go…. a short but sweet post I wrote when I just couldn’t sleep.

Til next time…
