I want to welcome my first Q and A guest bloggerBECCAPBEAUTY
I have been following Becca right from the start of my blogging journey last year so I was delighted when she said she’d love to do a Q and A with me. So without further ado let’s jump right in with the questions.
IF YOU COULD MAKE YOUR OWN LIPSTICK WHAT SHADE WOULD IT BE AND WHAT WOULD YOU CALL IT?
If I could have my own shade of lipstick it would be a warm-toned nude that’s not too dark. I always find that I struggle to find a warm toned nude that isn’t too dark or cool against my skin tone and I’d call it Brew – because who doesn’t love cups of tea and I imagine that’s the kind of shade I’d go for. A strong brewed cup of tea haha!
WHAT MAKEUP ITEM COULD YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
I couldn’t live without lipstick or mascara… if I had to choose I’d go with lipstick. It can completely change your look in one swipe and it’s a great way to be brave and wear colour, or make your outfit stand out with an amazing pop of red or a vampy lip.
WHERE DO YOU MAINLY BUY YOUR MAKE UP/BEAUTY PRODUCTS FROM?
Currently, I mainly buy my Beauty/makeup from either Superdrug or Beauty Bay. I love that Superdrug is against animal testing and the skincare range B. Is my absolute favourite. I love getting makeup from Beauty Bay because they have a great range of international makeup brands that you’d never find in stores.
ARE YOU INTO MORE HIGH END OR HIGH STREET BRANDS OR A BIT OF BOTH?
As much as I love high-end makeup, I’m definitely a high street girl to the core. Makeup is what you make it and with some good brushes and techniques, you can make the cheapest of makeup look amazing. If anything, I’d splurge more on skincare and foundation as the skin is key to your makeup
WHY DID YOU START BLOGGING?
I started blogging because I love reading reviews on lots of different products and quite often I’d find other people opinions or swatches weren’t quite what I was looking for – so I decided to start doing my own reviews and from there came the blog. I also love doing makeup looks because I feel that I often get stuck in a rut with my makeup and doing them inspires me to try things that are a bit different. As I’ve been blogging I’ve come to realise that the community of blogging is amazing – there’s so much empowerment and positivity and I’m all for bringing people up.
