Where i live we have a outlet store of The Body Shop. I didn’t actually know until i asked the other day that if they aren’t a full price store it will take 18 months to 2 years to get the stock that’s a new range for instance. I think that’s shocking.
Anyways, i was having a quick nosey round a few shops before my hospital app last Thursday and thought oooo lets have a nosey round The Body shop and here are the few goodies i picked up.
Ok, anybody who doesn’t like the smell of banana this wont interest you. They have a new banana range with Shampoo, conditioners, body yogurts and body butters. I went for two lots of the body butter. They were £6 each and small enough to put in your handbag.
In this hot weather anything sprayed on your face is refreshing. I picked this strawberry face mist up and it smells bloody beautiful. It’s mini so you can fit it in your pocket if needs be. If they ever bring out a bigger one i am purchasing it. Again this was £6. So kind to your purse.
Lastly i was informed i could pick up something for free on the table to the side of the till. So i looked though the different scents of the hand cream and this Almond milk and honey took my fancy. You literally only need the smallest bit to go a long way. It’s so moisturising and will last forever, i mean a long time.
There you go there were my little treats to myself.
What’s your favourite product from The Body Shop?
As I am writing this I am absolutely kicking myself.
These products are what i use in my new skincare regime, however are now buy one get one free. The annoyance is… I bought them all full price literally the other week.
Let me take you from left to right and talk about each product from the Naturally Radiant range at Superdrug.
Glycolic Overnight Peel – Before opening it I had pictures in my head of my face being stuck to my pillow when I woke up. That was not the case. It went on like a thin layer, and dried in no time. When I woke up it didn’t take much to remove it, in fact I just used some warm water. It recommends to use it twice a week, you don’t need very much so it will last a while.
2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum – I wanted to buy this as my skin suffers from dry patches and it specified it was for dry skin so I thought why not give it a go. I have been applying a little before my makeup as a primer and then sometimes at the end of the day too. Sometimes applying it the next morning is not needed. I really like it and it does the job and I love that it’s a light product in a pump bottle too. Happy Holly.
Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser – I only decided to buy this as I really couldn’t justify spending a big amount on the Liz Earle one if it wasn’t any good for my skin so that’s why I went hunting for a cheaper alternative, and found this one. I love the concept of it removing all your make up just like that. I do on occasions use a face wipe before doing the cleanser as I think it speeds up the routine if you want to get in bed that tiny bit quicker. Thumbs up for me and its a fraction of the price of the more expensive Cleanse and polish… I forgot to add it comes with a cloth too.
Brightening Micro Polish – This is a gentle exfoliator that really does wonders to the condition of my skin. I only use a small amount and work it into my dry patches mainly before distributing it to the rest of my face. I have only used this twice as I have done it once a week and I have to say I am impressed.
Brightening Eye Cream – Since I am now in my 30’s I thought I best start looking after my eyes and I must admit I do suffer with dark circles under my eyes. Thankfully no bags yet. So i decided to get an eye cream to apply before bed to work overnight and leave me with less shading underneath and it’s early days but I am hoping it improves them a little bit.Its not a miracle cream at the mo but it has potential.
THE ADDED BONUS IS ITS CRUELTY-FREE
So if you’re interested in any of them then take a nosey on the Superdrug website here or click on the products mentioned above. Be quick before the offer is gone though.
