From me to you,
I want you to know that in life you are going to stumble, and sometimes actually fall. The thing you have to do is not wallow in it, you need to get back up and get on with it. The only person that can achieve your goal is you.
Take a step back if you need to an evaluate, but never give up. There is so little time in a day really when you think about it, and to of wasted your time throwing away a goal you were working so hard towards is kinda silly, right?
If everyone threw in the towel when things slipped up/didn’t go their way we would be living in a really miserable place. Break it down into small manageable goals, and before you know it you will have a big ‘I DID IT’ tick beside it.
You’d feel so proud of yourself for not giving up at the first fallen hurdle.
Of course life is going to throw you crap, you just got to be ready to say… Not my crap and get your head in the game so to speak.
Three final words of this post I am going to leave you with and I want you to always have them in the back of your mind when you have your sights set on something.

This quote speaks volumes to me and I hope it does you.
You’ve all heard –
- Don’t run before you learn how to walk.
- Take one step at a time.
- If you do something do it well
Well they are all trying to get the same message across. That each thing you want to achieve is a goal and you just need to focus on it but don’t hurry it. You want to get there with a sense of I did it and it was worth every step along the way to reach the goal…
You never just tick off your achievements without putting in effort so please just take it steady whatever you are aiming for in life and make sure you wear a smile and have a spring in your step while doing it.
Happy Thursday, thanks for stopping by

Today I thought I would take you on a hair journey…
This is from December last year where I couldn’t tie my hair up and the highlights were kind of ombre
Then I remember letting my hair colour grow out and in April/May time I treated myself to some highlights and I could actually wear my hair in a tiny ponytail. I did like it blonde for the summer, gives it that sunkissed look
Then I became ill over the summer and didn’t do anything to it apart from wash it and when it got long enough I was able to plait it which is always a hair goal in itself.
Once I got home from the hospital in the middle of November I picked up a box of hair dye from boots and because they didn’t have the colour I was after I just got a semi that was meant to be amber and came out quite brown and after about 6-7 washes was fading quite a bit.
Its now a few weeks before Christmas and I decided to brave it with the colour that I originally wanted to do it…
I ordered it on Boots.com apparently our local store is too small to stock all colours so bear that in mind if you don’t see the colour you want.
I am just keeping my fingers crossed it stays this colour
Loreal Preference – Brooklyn Copper Auburn just in case you were wondering.

I’ve struggled over the last 2 years since I had my big operation with my weight. As I was not very mobile I just used to comfort eat to make myself feel better when in fact it was making me sad. My weakness is chocolate…still partial to a Diam or a Crunchie if I go past one in the supermarket 😋
so I have been on a weight loss journey since October and with Christmas most of the 6 pounds I lost went back on. So new year came and I thought let’s get my head in the game and don’t cave in. I’m 11 pounds down and now back in my size 10s I am so proud of myself that I’ve stuck to it.
Here are a few meals I managed to snap. I really do like eating my vegetables every day the fruit is growing on me…not literally. I’ll keep you updated how I’m getting on in a month or so 😁
