I have just realised my title is a high school muaical song but I’m going to roll with it.
So I really think making lists is something that everyone should do.
Even if you have a mind that remembers everything.
These little beauts are from Card Factory for £2 and they pretty much are all you need to have your shit together.
In tomorrows post I am going to be talking all things blogging and what things will be helpful during each month.
So come back tomorrow and I hope today is a good start to your week.
Bring your notepad and pen to take notes.
I want to accomplish a goal this year, something that won’t just make me happy but will help others too.
So if you didn’t know i wrote a book a few years ago,my real life story called BULLIED FOR BEING ME (click to get a copy its £1.62 at the mo for the paper back). It gets the word out of how mean bullies can be and how back then i coped. It was pretty tough to write it as i had to relive it in my head but it is so rewarding when you have something in paperback to be proud of.
If i was to write another book i am tore between doing a self help book or poetry book as both would make me ecstatically happy to do.
I also would love to be an agony aunt, i would love to have a page online or on the blog to dedicate to helping with problems of any topic, nothing is ever too embarrassing for me to delve into but i have no idea how to go about that one. If you do please click on my twitter or Instagram below and inbox me your ideas.
I have so much to give to others because that’s just the type of person i am. So lets hope i can achieve my goal.
I never used to be organised, I would just shove stuff in a drawer or at the bottom of the wardrobe until I couldn’t fit anything else in then it was a case of having to sort it out. But as I have matured a bit over the years I think that nothing is worse than living in chaos.
So I have come up with some things that I like to keep on top of to make me feel like I have my shit together.
❤️Organise closet/cupboard/wardrobe wherever you put your clothes. I find putting them in sections of colour is gonna so when you are feeling red for example you can go to your red items and take your pick. Alternatively you can have one end for best and the other end for casual
❤️Making time for a Morning/evening routine. You don’t need a long list of things just some essentials that will make your day/night easier
❤️Sort apps on phone into folders -it’ll keep it looking tidy and you’ll know where all the necessary ones are
❤️Use a notepad or planner to make the most out of your day, with to do lists, meal plans, places to go and people to see.
❤️Delete unwanted photos/messages/numbers on your phone to free up space.
❤️If you can clean as you go, if not allocate some time in your day to do it instead of letting it all mount up. Delegate your load with others in the house if you don’t live alone.
❤️Keep tabs on your spending so you can see what you are getting that you need and can be justified as a reasonable buy and those that aren’t need to be cut back so you’ll have some savings for a rainy day.
❤️Keep your bedroom as spotless as you can as this is for relaxing and unwinding.
❤️Declutter anything that serves you no purpose anymore ( I’ll do another post on this soon. )
❤️Pack bag, food and outfit for the next day the night before do you won’t be faffing about in the morning.
I hope you can use these in your daily life to make it less stressful

Hey, i hope you all had a lovely time over the new year.
So i thought for my first post of the year i would focus on planning as most of us have plans for the year however big they are.
So we have your standard one you would print out and fill in. These are ever so handy because if you mess up you can just print out another, or do it on your computer (no need to print)
If you want to be a bit more creative then a bullet journal is the one to go for as you can be as individual as you like. This is an example of one weekly spread you may want to.
Of course there’s nothing wrong with just having a notepad to keep all your plans in and writing the dates as you go along.
Lastly you’ve got a planner that’s got it all set out for you and all you got to do is put your plans in it’s designated area (this is mine) I’m going to talk through it at a later date as i think it’s fab.
I thought i would also include these 3 for the journaling lovers. Got to love a good 30 day challenge.
Hope you have fun answering these i know I’m going to

I thought I would do something a little bit different and do a comparison kind of post.
It’s coming to the end of the year in just under 6 weeks. We can say Happy 2019 and good riddance to the year you’ve just had. Unless of course it was one of your best years of your life then cherish every moment.
Most of you reading this will no doubt have some way of recording your creative moments you do, whether it’s blogging, any clubs you belong to, or the things that bring you joy such as meeting with friends or family and doing exciting stuff.
In this day and age it’s generally a diary and bullet journal that people turn to and I wanted to talk about the things I think set them apart from each other.
- A diary comes in a few forms, one that’s already got the pages organised for you in 7 days (a week obviously). Some a page a day if you have a lot to write and jot notes or doodle on the side. Then finally there’s the one that has the times from morning til night if you are one that plans by the hour.
- You can write how the days gone in a diary and flip back at a later date to remind you what happened on a certain day. I have a fair few of these in my loft.
- They come in array of sizes and usually you can search online and type in whatever style or colour cover you want and it’s doable. Some pricier then others depending where you buy it from
- When you decide to bullet journal there are endless things you can put in there from a weekly spread where you have a key method of symbols to show whether it’s been completed, migrated or not done etc. You can make it your own key you don’t need to follow the way the inventor did, make it your own.
- It’s more of a tracker compared to a diary, you can make pages decorative and for instance track what series you are watching and how far along you are. What books you’ve read, giving them stars for how good/bad they were. A habit tracker, your favourite quotes, literally anything your heart desires.
- Usually you would get either a plain hardback book or one with dots in or if you are going to be doing more writing than drawing then a feint lined one would be great also. The one people swear by is the make Leuchttrum 1917 simply because it’s such excellent quality.
Personally I gave bullet journaling a go and it didn’t work for me I couldn’t get my creative juices going at the time so a diary it’s been for the last two years. It’s not to say I won’t ever do a bullet journal but it’s just not for me right now.
Which one would you pick for your creative needs?

For all my new readers…and old ones too.
Every Wednesday i upload a video over on my YouTube channel usually about lifestyle/mental health.
Todays video is all about journaling and planning.
I have put the collection of mine together today and chat my way through the video about them.
If you want to see what i use which journal/planner for what click on my video below.
I may possibly do a blog post at a later date talking about each one.
Keep your eyes peeled for it.
Hope your week is going great so far.
Til next time, love Holzie xx
Please don’t look back at this year in disappointment at what went wrong or what you didn’t achieve.
The past can not be changed but you can shape your future.
2018 will be your year if you put the effort in. It’s not just going to do itself…very few are that lucky.
Take it a month at a time and aim to write some goals down that you want to smash. make them manageable, break them down into points if needed. Trust me it’s so much easier. Don’t go overboard with too many goals maybe 3/4 is a sensible number.
Grab yourself a diary/ planner to write down all the things in the week you have to do. So you got your organisation on paper as the head can get a bit muddled at times. I had my planner pictured below for my birthday and I have made use of it every day since. It gets you into a routine and when you have completed all that’s on your weekly page you can feel accomplished which in turn makes you feel happier.
This one is from Hobbycraft but there’s so many out there to choose from you are spoilt for choice really.
You also want to make plenty of memories too and this little D.I.Y is perfect for anyone at any age. Grab a empty jar, you choose how big you want it. Write on a label something about memories or find some printables online like i did and stick it on your jar. Then start making memories – don’t forget to write them on a piece of paper and put them in your memory jar. When it is full or at the end of 2018 you can read them all and smile.
MAKE 2018 ONE TO REMEMBER
Here’s to health, happiness and magical memories.
Til next time…
