This post can apply at any time but I think January is the optimum time to do it.
Of course having one diary can of course be helpful… But sometimes if you are a stationery addict and like getting your shit together then include some of these kind of notebooks/ journals below.
So this is a weekly spread type diary. Where you can quickly note down what you have to do or have done. I like to use this for keeping track of when my blog posts have been published. To look back on the topics with ease. Love the little note section on the opposite side, really helpful.
This is my book I write in every night. It has a space at the top to write what went on in the day, you could even draw there instead. It also asks you a question that gets you thinking. I like the concept of that.
This notepad only arrived yesterday and I was so excited. It has so many pages and 10 sections. Got to plan what subjects are going in there. It was really affordable and can be used for literally anything.
Lastly I have a 5 minute ls before bed journal which I don’t think would see you through the year so it’s one to more down special things in. I want it to be a positive thought provoking one. But you can use them as you wish. I had it for Christmas but I am pretty sure Paperchase still do it.
Am I the only stationery obsessed one around here, i hope not.
Some of us just write a blog post and post it and aren’t overly fussed about how it does or who it’s inspired.
However the majority of us do, as it shows how you grow in your journey of blogging.
So I thought about the types of things we all could do throughout the month to stay ahead of ourselves.
– Publish new blog post
– Respond to comments
– Ensure all links in post work correctly
– Comment on 5-10 peoples blog posts
– Browse Internet for inspiration
– Promote on all your social media platforms
– Check and respond to ant emails / DMs you have
– Plan and start writing your next post
– Make mind maps or bullet points for future posts
– Use Pinterest to get ideas
– Take photographs, find graphics and quotes to use in your blog posts.
– Continue to share your posts over on your socials but don’t over do it… You don’t want to appear annoying.
– Have a evaluation of how your blog is performing, print out the insights and see which ones your readers are most interested in
– Improve on things in your blog that you spot isn’t working so great, maybe your schedule of the days you post or the type of content you put out.
– Look at the theme and think do you still love it, because if you don’t… It needs to change.
I could go on and on but those were just a few pointers.
The most important thing is to interact with your readers in your blog post, the comments and then in their blog posts too. Be a loyal follower 🌸
I have just realised my title is a high school muaical song but I’m going to roll with it.
So I really think making lists is something that everyone should do.
Even if you have a mind that remembers everything.

What makes you feel powerful?
I always feel stronger after meditating and finding my inner strength, allowing all the stresses around me melt away. I also look at myself in the mirror and tell myself I am awesome
What 3 strong women do you look up to?
Michelle Obama is an inspiration. I loved reading her autobiography. She is such a down to earth woman who is humbled by all the amazing opportunities that have opened up for her.
Sarah Steckler founder of Mindful Productivity because she is again really down to earth and open about her own struggles through life.
My mum because she has so much confidence in herself. We may not always see eye to eye but her inner strength and conviction is something I aspire to achieve in myself
What advice would you give to someone needing to find their inner fierceness?
I try to remind myself of all the positive things people tell me about myself. And remind myself that if I were to call others all the horrible things I call myself, no one would like me! I highly recommend meditation to help calm the mind and then focus on the positive messages in their life
