What does your Sunday look like…

Mine at the mo I’ve managed to get in and wash the mop, the dizziness is still there but I can get about a bit.

I’m now sat in the garden with the sun shining listening to ‘NOW 102’ on Spotify… Here’s the playlist if you wanna listen.

I’ve painted my nails a simple but different French manicure as you can see. Just fancied doing something other than plain colours.

I love the fact that I’ve got a summer dress on and it’s not even the middle of May yet. Not packed my woolys away yet cos knowing England we will need them again soon.

I’ll leave you with a summery quote to get you in the mood like me.

Happy Sunday

Til next time

Sunday is….

Sunday is the close of one week and the getting ready for the next

How you spend it is totally up to you, nobody is judging you.

Plus one Sunday will never be the same as any other so make it as memorable as you wish.

Here are some quotes about Sundays

This is most definitely me today, cosying up in the warm with all the comforts I need for a Sunday.

Those who have a little bit of adventure in them whether it be an all-day drinking sesh, a hike or bike ride in the country or an outing with family and friends.

AS long as your Sunday makes you happy then you should let that happiness flow into the next week ahead.

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan but giving yourself a reminder that you will get through the week unscathed and smiling come the weekend.

I’m going to finish this post with a song by a legend of our time and she just so happens to be singing about Sunday

Have a fab Sunday whatever you decide to do.

Til next time…

I totally forgot

Just a quick post to say

I’m so sorry i didn’t put a post on today ( most of my posts are written on the same day as i publish them.

I went out for a surprise birthday get together for my brother. There was me,Mum and a load of his mates. It was in a pub, reckon there was 30 of us. My brother doesn’t really like a fuss but he deserved to be the centre of attention for once. It was lovely catching up with oldies from the past and a few friends of his I’d never met before.

Lets hope theres not too many sore heads in the morning. I was sensible and stopped at 3. Plus it was pretty pricey. Nearly needed a mortgage. – bet you’ve all heard of that phrase when somethings steep in price.

Anyway just gone midnight and tucked up in bed, but wide awake so a bit of relaxing music to hopefully rock me off.

Nighty night, good morning, good day whenever you’re reading this xxx

Welcome to the weekend

Welcome to the weekend

Enjoy it while it’s here.

Don’t get too drunk and silly,

Trust me you won’t remember it

this time next year.

Try and make some memories

and hold them very close,

Make sure you spend it

with the people you love most.

Weekends only come

every 6th and 7th day,

So use them very well.

For when they have gone and its Monday,

It’s welcome back to hell.

Hey guys, It thought I would start off the weekend with a poem and to say I am starting to put together poetry to publish in a book. So I thought I’d get warmed up and write this just for you.

If you have a dream you wish to come true, keep working on it and trust me it will be worth it all in the end.

A glimpse of the summer

Many apologies for no post on Saturday

I usually write my blog posts and publish them on the same day and it just so happened that we had a few visitors and because the weather was actually nice my Mum took me out for a spin in the wheelchair.

It was so nice to see some sunshine for once. I didn’t need my winter warmers just a hoody.

We ended the day with pie and chips from the chippy. It was bloody lovely.

I hear that England are actually going to have 2/3 days of hot weather this week coming so i best find something summery from last year that still fits fingers crossed.

Heres to a fab week ahead 😘

Nothing beats a night in with your Mum and your favourite tipple putting the world to rights and reminiscing about the days when I was always out on the razzle…

  • Having a big bottle of WKD before going on out…
  • putting on umpteen outfits before deciding the first one was just fine.
  • Not being able to have the music on too loud in my room as Dad would shout up he was trying to watch the TV. I didn’t record the top 40 for nothing.
  • Making sure you went to the bank sober to get out your money for the night as anything could happen if we were to go once we were fuelled with alcohol.

Some of my best nights out were with my sister…even though there’s an 8 year age difference it doesn’t seem it.

Our Dad would say you best wear a coat and my sister saying I don’t want to pay £3 to hang it up. She always got away with it but not me I took one and paid too. Being the baby of the family I was wrapped up in cotton wool.

When there was someone’s birthday it was an excuse to dress up and there was a fair few of us too so we were out in force.

Here are a few pics of me and my sis from the ages of 18 til about 23

How I have grown up and how I can look back and say I enjoyed my ‘Just Legal’ years and have plenty of stories to tell. I could probably fill a book with them actually

Now there’s an Idea for my next book.

Whatever you’ve been doing this weekend I hope you’ve got memories to keep.

Thanks for stopping by

Til next time…
